Last sunday I got this rig out for a testdrive.


Servo seemed to be superfast. Now let's see the hill cababilites.


It goes up and then it comes back down. Exactly the same performance as last year! 


Overall balance is ok, I just might have to fine tune the front suspension a bit.


Rig felt lighter. 


And it had all the power in the world!


Rescue mission! 


These always end badly. And this time was no examption...


The rig rolled on it's roof and I tried to drive it back on it's wheels. Managed to do that, but my steering was gone?


Servo was hot and smell burned. 

NOTE TO YOURSELF: Don't use helicopter servos on a car. 

I'll add a little bit better servo and try again on sunday.

After the test gone wrong in sunday, it was time to install a new servo.


The best you can buy. 


Shouldn't be scared of a little roll overs this. 39kg torque at six volts. 


Shorter wiring to save weight and room.


It's always such a pleasure to work with a clean rig... 


New servo is a bit heavier, but otherwise the same size.


Testdrive done. YES, it turns. 


Tomorrow we are heading for the gravel pit to test our foff rigs. Should be fun day out.

Got the rig outdoors yesterday with the new servo on it.


Let's test that servo.


Servo felt really good. Really light to drive and pretty fast as well. 


Because of the new links, I had to mock up my front suspension a little, to get similiar setup as last year.


This thing currently drives amazingly. At this point it needs no changes.


After good testing day with both of my rigs, it's time to start preparing them for next weekends comp.

Everything is now ready for the season opener in sand! 


Rig felt really good at practise session, so I'm gonna stick with it for now.


Only thing that I have changed is the position of the front shocks. 


I'm really looking forward what is the level of competition on saturday. Hopefully high, but you never know when it's the first one of the year. 


It's time to have some late Easter Fun! 

My objective is on top. Nuff said.

First Foff Cup comp is now behind. I'm reliefed to have a huge smile on my face.


Total of thirteen rigs in modified class meant a tough competition.


There has never been so many rigs at Easter Fun.


First course!


Just trying to make a calm performance.


As slow as possible, so I would have more time to choose the lines.


That was working well!  


The new servo felt extremely good and fast!


The next photos are from the most difficult course of the day. Course five.

The ground clearance in SuDu One is a good friend in spots like this.  


Slowly watching not to hit a marker.


Every single thing in the rig worked flawless through the whole day.


But that alone isn't enough in a comp like this. I had a pretty darn good performances as well. I'm happy about my driving.


No changes are required for the next competition.

And finally here are the results. Really good day for me and the rig. My opponents are coming really closely behind, so the next comp after two weeks will already be interesting.

But now I will get back to crawling for one week.

No changes what so ever.  Gonna stick with this setup, cause it gives me the confidence that I had last year.


Total of fourteen rigs on the line tomorrow. Nothing comes free on those hills, that's for sure. No matter what, I'm still aiming for the top. "

Time for update of last weekends comp.


Beautiful spring morning rises in southern Finland.


Total of twelve rigs on the line for glory.


Plenty of tires to choose from. 


After terrible mistake on first course, I had to start driving like a maniac. 


This course started much better. 


Little drop from the cliff.


This was a tricky one. Steep sidehill gate where all except me took the red one.


Bouncing towards the finish gate.


Line to there has to be exact.


There it is!! 


Before course five I was sitting in second position 30 points behind the leader.


And in this course I managed to make the move. 


I'm still pretty pleased by the performance of this thing. It goes nearly everywhere I want it to.

Results. As you can see it is really tight compared to previous season. 


Really happy about managing to fight my way back to the top in the comp.

Next one will be after two weeks in the north! Until that, I'll check the screws and it is ready for another battle.

Comp time on sunday! Time for update.


New transmission housings came. Threading from the old housing began to be poor.


Now assembled.


Ten rigs on the line on sunday. Should be another day to fight for the victory! 


We'll see if it's as hot in Suonenjoki as it was last year.  Pics and vids will follow for sure!

Time for update after the third competition of Foff Cup 2015.


13 starters for the competition.

Rig is working excellent again.

It went all the way up. This shot is from the last course.


I broke my axle in the end of the timed course. It literally went in half.  Luckily I had spare axle and was able to keep going.

Here is a video from fifth course. Just after the axle went in pieces. Really happy about this performance!


First spot again! Feels good to be on the mood in this class.


Four out of six full house scores. That's a decent day for me.

Next comp will be after a month, so now it's time to rest and get ready for some crawling comps.

Tomorrow we are heading for the fourth comp of this season's Foff Cup.


Here you can see the carnage from last comp. 


It's now ready for the comp. Switched the gears to underdrive on rear, where in front there are stock gearing. Seemed to improve the handling on steep uphills.


Again good amount of rigs will be tomorrow on the starting line. Can't wait to get foffin again!  Might still look inside my shocks, cause I noticed some leaking in the last comp. Hoping of course to get my fourth victory and securing the title. Not yet possible, but with fourth victory it would be really close.

Little bit late with updates, but here we go again. The fourth comp of Foff Cup 2015 is behind with an excellent result.


Saturday morning opened cloudy.


I came to this weekend straight from work and had all of my crawler and foff gear with me. 


Here are the participants of modified class.


Comp has started well. No bigger mistakes, just good driving from course to course. Like it should be!

Almost rolled over here, but managed to save it.

Pulled of another first. In the next comp I can already close the championship for me. 


Good gap to the second. I wish all of the comps would be like this! 

As I told, next comp will be just after two weeks. After that, there is only week before the Finnish Nationals. I gotta fill my shocks before that, otherwise it's ready to go I think.

Time for some tech and training!


Shock tech on the way. Gotta change the oil and remove one limiter off from the left rear shock.


Dunno why there were such thing, but it felt annoying to drive like that. Now they are even though. 


Time for a little practice. It's been ages since I have done foff practicing last time.


Maybe too hard course? 


Rig is working really well. It's beginning to look like Nationals setup for me. 

Now it's just waiting for another two weeks before the next comp.

Had time to tighten up the screws and get this rig ready for tomorrows comp.


All set and I'm aiming for another victory. This time it'll be wet race for sure. The weather forecast looks terrible for tomorrow.  Made few adjustments for the suspension, let's see how that turns out.

Another comp of Foff Cup 2015 series is behind!


We had proper comp village build for the comp. 


Cause of the rain... 


Fortunately it stopped for one course and I managed to take some pics.


Challenging first course! 


I was the last one to go. One guy had clear the course before me.


Going for the first big drop, that claimed almost all of the victims.


I also got too far down and touched the course limiting line.

Jump to the vertical final gate. Broke the transmission on that jump. Also broke another one on the next course.

Fifth victory in the 2015 Foff Cup series means, that Toxoplasma Condii will be crowned as the champion! One more comp to go on October, but the title is already secured! 


Here are the results. Nothing to complain on the rig. Just loving driving it at the moment.

Tomorrow I'll get to the garage and see what's the carnage on those transmissions. Gotta get it ready for saturdays Finnish Nationals!

Today it was time to fix the transmission after last comp.


This was the issue with the first broken transmission. 


And the second one had broken plastic center gear. Basic stuff. Replaced that one and it's ready to go again. 


Loving the current setup, so I'm ready to hit the sand hills tomorrow at the Nationals! 


Tomorrow is the big day. Finnish Championships are beign held for the first time! My attention is to continue the good pace from previous comps!

Finnish Nationals are behind and I'm pleased to say, that it's all good news for Toxoplasma Condii! 


Before the comp. Attaching the battery and all was set to a fight of a century!   


Courses looked challenging before the comp.


Lots of tricky vertical spots to clear.


Seven rigs on the line. This was the comp you were only allowed to drive one rig per class.

So I did.  Unfortunately the line was a bit wrong there.

Last course had to be the hardest of the year so far.

The rig just flat out works. It's awesome! 

There will be two months brake before the last two competitions of the year. 10.10.15 is the last competition of Foff Cup 2015. Nothing to change of the rig. It's good now to take a little rest before the end of the season.

Time to be active again! 


After braking another set of gears from the transmission I now have switched all gears to steel ones. 


There is no need for other changes at this point.  Rig is working as it should and I'm trying to get another victory for it tomorrow.


Last comp of Foff Cup 2015. I have already ensured the title, but I'm always hungry for more.

The last competition of Foff Cup 2015 is done.


This time we drove in Vääksy. A whole new comp spot.

I made my comp really tricky already at the first course, where I scored the lowest points of all pack.


Luckily I got the good mood flowing again from course two and it was time to start climbing up in the ranks. 


After this fifth course I was 20 points behind the leader, so my climbing had been a success.


I was first one to hit the final course.


On the third gate, there was already little drama, when I couldn't made it at the first try.


Luckily I was able to escape it without reverse.

Here is the last course. I was pretty sure of the victory when I made it through. 


Luckily for me, victory it was! 


Here you can see the final scores. As you can see, after the first course I got the good mood flowing. 


With six victories in six comps, it was pretty easy to breath up there!
