mooman007uk:
hi all, mooman007uk from Vancouver Island here.
thought i'd share my latest creation with foff fans here.
full 4130 chromemoly tube chassis, 4 link suspension, home built 4130 solid front and rear axles, oneill bros full mod 57cc zen headed rcmk twin, custom splined driveshafts using hurrax cvd's, honda lawnmower splines, front and rear diffs are redcat rampage centre diff spools and pinions, transmission made from hurrax,fg and himoto gears, modified rampage brakes, vrc propipes, 5b front shocks all round, oddified tonegawa PS050 steering servo. was trying to go with hydraulic steering but the rams suck air when pushed too fast so went with cable steering..
there are way too many pictures to upload now as i've been at this since december full build thread link and photobuck album links are at the end of the post, total close to 300hrs now and build cost of about $3000
edit...i can't resize the photos so the right hand side has been cut off
just before tear down for paint

a few odds and ends to finish and the body work and paint then ready for the one hill that as yet remains unconquered, many attempts with earlier foff ancestors of this one...http://www.youtube.com/user/mooman007uk?feature=mhee
i hope to start it in the next day or 2 ;D
Zarizi Tech:
That's simply beautiful creation! I waw like :o Can't wait to see the vid where you are running this ;)
SlidSlide:
Destroyer of Worlds!
It only needs panels and custom tires.
wraith:
sick build!
i would like to see and hear this thing running uphill..
mooman007uk:
i finished the body work, wiring and steering
and for paddle tires, shaved down redcat rampage tires with hpi 5t sandbuster paddles to be glued on
i found, once my steering was finished, that the motor in the oddified tonegawa servo has no power, the motor is bad so hoping Ian Oddie can repair it...for now i can not run it :'(
